The R avenger Cleaver/Butcher knife, while there really ins`t much else to say, because the description has it pretty much covered , I will tell you what I think . I think this Stronghold Cleaver is another piece of kitchen art., it looks huge, in a good way, because it can tackle just about anything. I used to only buy cheap knives, but Stronghold changed my mind about investing in better quality . The package is fantastic, it`s like a little surprise , just like Christmas opening the presents. This cleaver has a great weight and feels awesome in your hand.I am in love with this cleaver. The ravager is the perfect name for it. The strength and power being this knife is unbelievable. It is perfect for breaking down large cuts of meat and poultry but it can also be used to chop, dice and mince tough vegetables and fruits.The full tang feels great in your hand and is very easy to hold and the stainless steel end cap helps to keep it perfectly balanced. It also includes a water and stain resistant sheath to keep your blade protected when not in use.I’ve had a few weeks to heavily use this cleaver now and absolutely love it.Like the others, the fit and finish for what you pay I feel is amazing.The German steel isn’t something that holds it’s Razer edge for long periods, but is super simple to get the edge back to a very sharp edge on nothing more than a good sharpening   stew.I really can’t say enough good things about Stronghold knives! They are really amazing. If at some point in the future a murderous alien takes over my body,


02: DALSTRONG Cleaver – Shogun Series X – A U S-10 V- Vacuum Treated

81z33kkcQxL._SL1500_ I love this knife! I always been a bit afraid when it came to cutting up large cuts of meat, or larger items like watermelon. But, thanks to this Dalstrong clever, not anymore. Whether, the job is big or small, this is the knife to use.With its thin razor sharp blade, and precision balanced handle, it makes all your cutting, chopping, dicing and mincing chores a breeze.This clever is a must have for master chefs, home cooks and collectors, alike. The “Tsunami Rose” etching and hammered finish blade, along with the polished, triple riveted handle, truly making this clever a work of art. Also, I think the wider grind angle for a knife this heavy is a good call anyway. But yeah, these are the only two nitpicks I could find.This cleaver makes prepping for dinner much faster and more efficient. The Cleaver is top quality. Besides being very beautiful the cleaver works very, very well..I would highly recommend this Cleaver it is the best I have ever had. The cleaver has perfect weight, feel, balance, sharpness, finish and it’s extremely pretty.Another added to my collection. Dalstrong makes an incredible product. Razor sharp, built to last. Beautiful workmanship. I can’t wait until they come out with a beautiful wood block to store my entire Shogun set and put in on display.


03: Dalstrong Slicing Carving Knife – 12″ Grant on Edge – Shogun Series – A US-10 V- Vacuum Treated

This knife is completely amazing! I chose this knife to extend my Dalstrong collection, and this was the perfect choice.The polish and finish on the blade is completely beautiful. It is perfectly balanced and feels great in your hand. The handle is so pretty as is the box that it comes with. It also comes with a cleaning cloth to keep the blade shiny and prescient. Used this knife for the first time slicing a brisket this weekend, and love the feel and performance of this knife. This is my 8th purchase from Dalstrong in the Shogun series (Damascus Steel), and love every one of them. They are heavier that the other series, but I prefer a heavier knife. Looking at the knife, it is a piece of art with the layered steel. Although I have always been a fan of German kitchen knives in the past, these Dalstrong Shoguns are now a far leap ahead. I was considering getting the carving knife that comes with the fork instead because I really wanted the fork, but I wanted this over the carving knife and I don’t really feel the need to have both since a gouty, boning knife, and slicing knife pretty much has everything meat related covered without the need for a carving knife.

04: Zelite Infinity Slicing Carving Knife – Comfort-Pro Series – High Carbon Stainless Steel Chef Knives


I have used this knife carving a whole ham, slicing up some brisket and I have even been carving up some turkey.The handles are rounded and full-tang and offer a grip that is unbeatable.Out of all the knives from this series this is my favorite probably because of the sheer size of the thing – it’s a beast!!! Pulling the blade towards you the razor-sharp edge just slides through the meat with utter ease leaving a wafer-thin slice of whatever it is you are carving up. Super happy with this purchase and strongly recommend!Wow!!! That was my exact words when I saw this knife. It is a large knife (12″) and works great for slicing & carving meats. This knife is razor sharp & you can tell it’s well built with a high grade stainless steel. I expect this knife to last me for several years.Excellent quality. I love the look and feel. I was looking for a quality knife to slice large briskets. This does the trick perfectly.


04: Zelite Infinity Cleaver Knife – Comfort-Pro Series – High Carbon Stainless Steel Knives 


This knife get the job done! Its just as good for makin’ quick work of fruits and veggies as it done with meats and seafood. True to Zelite form, it comes in a stunning box…the unpacking process is always cool. Blade is super sharp…slices through things like butter without any effort. Feels great in the hand (its the perfect size!) and cleans up easily.. I don’t know why. The packaging was really beautiful, really. Just felt like I might be using the knife in a questionable film that needs a knife for some reason. Years ago I worked in a restaurant kitchen and I still love knives (not in a creepy way). I love having multiple knives of the same size/purpose even though all the professionals tell you differently. Harrumph! Clearly they have never seen me in the kitchen. As it turns out, this is one of the most beautiful knives in my collection of Wustof, Shun, and Zwilling cutlery. The fit and finish is good, and out of the box, SHARP, as sharp as any kitchen knife needs to be. This is my first Santoku, so not sure what to expect. This knife is heavy, especially the handle, which pushes the weight to the rear, which I do not mind as the heft feels good in my hand.

I finished cutting a big chunk of pork picnic roast and didn’t get tired at all. I bought the small one because I got small hands, and it fits me very well.I’m looking for a meat knife. This knife is super sharp and it is not heavy to carry it.the shape designed for wooden hold area is perfect for holding with finders nit like my old one is round shape. would recommend to anyone looking for a well made and reasonable priced meat knife. I am not disappointed though and look forward to finding the right meat projects for my birthday present.My family love meat so we bought this butcher knife which is pretty cool the shape of this blade makes its easy for slicing but do be careful with the top side cause it’s really sharp , anyway I recommend this butcher knife to you guys for cutting meat.

I have 2 Wustof blocks filled with knives and I reach for these the most, these days.When you use a sharp knife like this, the end will bend and become a bit warped. This isn’t a bad thing: it keeps the knife edge malleable. I like that I can put the edge right back with very little effort.Used it right out of the box after getting it. I’ve gotten a few knives in the past where the handles have fallen off, but I don’t foresee that being a problem here. I like the slight rock on the blade too which makes it easy to chop quickly.All in all: a very nice set for a beginner/intermediate cook who wants the best.

The Parka wood (sourced from Africa) is unique for each handle; luxurious & beautiful. I’ve used this 7-inch Chinese Chef’s knife for a couple of months or so. It was received sharp out of the box. This knife is quite visually impressive, well finished, attractive, and easy to handle. Packaging was more than acceptable too. The shape of the blade combined with the luster of the Pakkawood handle is stunning and immediately captured my attention. Its looks begged me to search for finishing flaws. I couldn’t find any.I originally just wanted a second set to use when I send my Shuns out for sharpening or have guests to use.These arrived and I put them through the full paces in the kitchen today. All I have to say is WOW.The blades are extremely sharp and true. Handled as good we my Shuns!!! At a quarter of the price. I’m going to get the full set of these or maybe their Ring line which is their higher end, now that I know this company is completely legit. I’ve read the reviews carefully- Yes, it does say ‘meat cleaver’ right on the blade. No- this is not a thin bladed or ‘light’ knife. It’s really strong, definitely feels stout, but not too heavy, with excellent balance so as to still be nimble.
